Why to spend more? Or what drugstore makeup products worth to buy

Nowadays makeup industry is growing fast, a lot of new brands appear as expensive luxe ones, as well as more affordable from drugstore. So what should you buy, spend a fortune on luxury makeup and feel good about yourself, or spend less on drugstore products which are less expensive and make your husband happy and save some money. In this case I can help you. I found some very affordable makeup that has really good quality and even professional makeup artists sometimes use it. Here we go:

1. Foundation. Korean brand MISHA can beat many high end western brands. Its Magic Cushion Foundation with SPF 50+ is not only good for summer time, but also has a decent coverage and luminesce finish. Korean women like more naturally glowy skin, while more Western women prefer matte finish (well now it has been changing). You can fix glowy look with a little bit of powder. The only minus is lack of shades and not as much product as I wished but price is worth it.

2. Concealer. The most popular dupe for Nars Creamy Concealer is Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. It has great coverage, wide range of shades, usually does not crease (do not forget to set with powder) and is also from drugstore. Another good concealer, which however has less coverage, is Netrogena Hydro Boost. It is very creamy and moisturizing (also set with powder). It claims to have hyaluronic acid, which locks the moisture, however it does not cover dark circles so well, so it is up to you, depends on your needs.

3. Setting powder. A new drugstore powder that I have recently tried is Covergirl Outlast ALL-Day. I have oily skin and this powder makes my skin matte for a couple of hours than I need to blot my face. In general I like it and use it almost every day, it does not clog my pores so far. Tip: Apply it with damp beauty blander, it will look more naturally.

4. Bronzer. Rimmel Natural Bronzer is very loved by many professional makeup artists, because it waterproof and sweat proof. It is available in three colors and has a lot of product inside, 14 g.

5. Cream Countour. In this category I prefer Maybellene Master Contour V-shape Duo Stick. First of all it is very blandable and creamy, second of all shades are perfect for light and medium skin tomes, and it also has lighter tone which you can use as a base for highlighter.

6. Highlighter. Wet n Wild Highlighting powder can beat them all. For a drugstore highlighter it is just awesome. I have shade Megaglo and it looks so good, a pearl color with really smooth application. I could pay 20 bucks for it. Good news, it is only 5!

7. Blushes. I like Wet n Wild Coloricon blushes that are pretty long-lasting. Unfortunately they are not as long-lasting as Tarte blushes, but still are good quality for the price.

8.Mascara. . L'Oreal Voluminous Original Mascara. Actually Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist Mario uses it on Kim. It is pretty classic black mascara, which is also available in waterproof formula.

9. Eye shadows. I do not like eye shadows from drugstore a lot , most of them need a good primer. The only exception are NYX prismatic eye shadows( I do not know if they have matte shades though ) and Maybelline Color Tattoos which are now available in a pencil version. They can be used by themselves and also as a base for powders.

10. Lipsticks. Maybelline and NYX are my favorite lipsticks from drugstore. They are very creamy, not drying, look good on lips and cost less. Maybelline new line of nudes is great, many shades to choose from for nude lipstick lowers, and also NYX Matte Lipsticks are great, I have all collections of them, if you are in hunt for a perfect red, check them out, they have many shades.

11. Lip pencils. The best lip pencils are from Rimmel. They are super creamy and are available in many shades. They can beat many high end lip pencils as well.
